Kirinara Golf Course
About
Excellent nine-hole layout that's often unfairly overlooked
Located just a short 20-minute drive from Khao Lak, Kirinara Golf Course is a fantastic Japanese-designed golf course worthy of your attention. The course's name is a combination of 'Kiri', meaning mountain, and 'Nara', meaning water, and these elements have been captured perfectly in a golf course that is set in suitably stunning scenery.
The water you see around the golf course is produced naturally by a stream which flows down from the mountains. Whether you play on a clear day or a misty day, Kirinara provides a sense of wonder and calm, making for a relaxing round of golf. However, you must try and focus on your game if you want to leave with a low score on your card.
Seven of the nine holes feature water, but for the most part it is not intrusive, although there are three successive holes, starting with the 3rd, that require a water carry. The par-4 4th, which requires a drive over water as well as an approach to an island green, is most likely to cause problems, although with a choice of four tee boxes on each hole, you can tailor the challenge to your ability.
Kirinara Golf Course will not feature on the main itinerary of golf courses in Thailand, partly due to the fact is a 9-hole course. However, it is a fantastic place to play golf and you can book to play 18 holes if you wish, which makes for a tremendous day of golf.

Will be a great course when finished
Another excellent golf course and very surprising to find course of this standard in such a remote area. Still not finished and have few more holes to build but very playable.Course Info
